As the player finds a temple, triggers the ancient writings (scroll over to activate, like other puzzles), the player gets another level of growth (finding a small growth cube/rune), and thus can now grow bigger. As he is granted another „level“ ,the individual pattern of a player is „subdivided“, thus growing more complex. This allows for quick spotting, how powerful a player was before he died, if you examine the complexity of the pattern over his grave.
